3.0.2 patch and Characters

At least two small updates for Characters are coming soon - 3.0.2 patch changed few things in how armory works, and I suspect even more changes will come when Wrath of the Lich King is released.

    Why have I lost all my Items Icons? Also, it seems to not be updating my information correctly.

    Cool program. I’m interested in developing applications for the iPod and was wondering if you had any advice on how to get started?

    When I update, every value on a character turns to NULL. Sometimes the app crashes during updates, too. At this point, the only thing I have left are character names and each of their levels. Everything else is now NULL.

    When I update, all values change to NULL, and sometimes the app will crash, too. All that’s left for me now are my character names and levels, and all other stats are NULL.

    I have the same issue, all the icons are missing and I occasionally have the app crash.

    It’s now been over a week since Lich King has been released, and nearly a month since patch 3.0 has been released. I was just wondering if you a) look at your comments and b) whether or not we can expect a working version of characters with all aspects of it working. It’s a great app, but it hasn’t worked correctly since patch 3.0 has been released. A much needed updated would be much appreciated.

    @All - armory outages and updates will occasionally result in flaky data. For example, reputation pane didn’t work for a while, and now it’s finally reliable again.

    @Eric - apply for Apple iPhone Developer program, and then dig through examples, docs, and of course use google and online forums. For me, it was really steep curve given lack of Cocoa/Obj-c programming background. First few months were head bashing against the wall, but then things finally started to make sense. Right now I love Obj-C syntax and philosophy, and things go much smoother.

    @Arthy - few days from now. :)

    @Mike - yup, I do read the comments.
